Most of my buddies say Arb but a couple say Detroit. Nobody says Eton electric. This jeep is used for moderate to extreme trails with a 6 Inch full Traction long Arm, 488 gears and 37" tires. Upon further research Eaton has had a lot of issues with this locker in the 8.8 (not so in other axles) because it is a c-clip axle. The axle moves the side gear in and out some so this causes the locking pins to not fully engage sometimeswhich leads to worn locking pins. Should have gotten an ARB. The Detroit Locker is designed to lock both wheels of the axle together automatically with power input when forward or reverse torque is applied.
